The Birdboss RAILBLAZA StarPort Adaptor Base (BRAB) connects your Birdboss to the RAILBLAZA StarPort mounting system. It incorporates a genuine RAILBLAZA StarPort Adaptor, so Birdboss can click into any compatible RAILBLAZA mount – on rails, biminis, pontoons, inflatable boats, RIBs and flat surfaces – and be removed again in seconds.

How It Connects to Birdboss
The Birdboss pivot base fits over the two stainless-steel threaded studs on top of the aluminium adaptor plate and is secured with the supplied stainless-steel Nyloc nuts. The genuine RAILBLAZA StarPort Adaptor is fastened beneath the plate with two countersunk stainless-steel screws and locks directly into compatible RAILBLAZA StarPort mounts.
Once assembled, the complete Birdboss clicks into your chosen RAILBLAZA mount and can be removed in seconds. The RAILBLAZA mount stays on the boat, ready for next time.
Installation and Safety Notes
- Remove Birdboss when the boat is under way and in extreme winds (over 40 knots).
- Position Birdboss so the arms can rotate freely, clear of rigging, antennas, canopies and people.
- Adjust the Birdboss arms evenly so the unit stays balanced.
- Check the mount, StarPort lock and Birdboss fittings regularly, especially after rough weather.
- Rinse the mount and BRAB with fresh water after exposure to salt spray.
